The Weigh-In Week 89

229.6! Less then a 1 pound gain but way to dangerously close to 230.

Next week, healthy eating and full on work outs. My prediction, 226.6!

Let's make it happen!

Have a great weekend everybody.

Guess How Much I weigh Contest - Week 89

It's been another bad week. I have eaten out at least one meal everyday since last Friday and only made it to the gym one day this week. I've spent most of the week locked away in dark rooms with nothing to do but snack.

Despite all that there may be a glimmer of hope that I don't have a gain this week or at least a loss of 1 pound or less....but it's pretty small.

I can feel myself reaching a breaking point again...but a breaking point for the good. I feel like I'm at a point where I've allowed myself to overindulge to the point where I don't get any satisfaction from it at all. It's happened before and it seems each time I naturally get myself back on track without to much struggle.

As spring quickly approaches and my tri training starts, I feel like things are going to get considerable better.

I've also realized that non of my summer clothes fit, so that's major motivation to get back on track!

Step right up, step right up.
Guess how much I weigh and win a fabulous prize.

To Recap:
Every Thursday I give you my stats for the week and you guess what you think the scale will say on Friday morning. The winner is the first person who guesses my weight / weight loss for the week without going over or the person who is closest without going over. Go ahead and click on comments at the bottom of this post and leave your guess.

I will post the winner when I post my weight on Fri. morning. If we get ten or more guesses I will have a prize for the winner.

Let the guessing begin. Good Luck!

Race Wrap Up...Finally

Sorry for the delay. I haven't been in front of a computer for more than 2 minutes at a time since last Friday.

What a beautiful day for a race! It was sunny and in the mid-40's when we started the St.Patties Irish Scamper 5K last Saturday. The pictures might make it look cold since we were bundled up against a cold wind, but I was roasting by the time I crossed the finish line.

I'm really happy with the race. I didn't beat last years time, but I wasn't expecting too.

Here are the stats:
Time: 27:30
Pace: 8:51
Rank: 100 /159 Men
29/48 Men 30-39

I was 25 seconds slower then last years race and just 1:07 seconds of my fastest ever race.

I was feeling like I could beat last years time, until I hit the final hill on the course. That hill just sapped every last ounce of reserve that I had.

Still it was a fun day. After the race we had lunch in town then hung out for the parade which the girls loved. Then home for a delicious dinner of Irish Potato Cakes and homemade beer. What more could you want?

Tony

P.S. I just realized that second picture makes it look like I am walking. I wasn't! I was still holding an 8:30 pace at that point which was near the half way mark.
